What. After Alice and Tin Man (both of which I actually enjoyed despite the copious amount of cheese and Syfy production values), I can’t say that I didn’t see this coming. I have a feeling this is what we’re going to see with Syfy in the near future - every two years they release a modernized re-telling/continuation of classic stories and fairytales. I called this last year.
But this one has bonus points for casting Anna Friel. ANNA FRIEL. ANNA FRIEL AS APPARENTLY A PIRATE CAPTAIN. I have missed you, Charlotte Charles, and seeing your presh face on my television.
Yeah. I’ll watch.
